Well it's finally here. Today is my last day at Walmart. I'm so glad to be leaving that place and trying something new. I've been at Walmart for 3 years now and it was great at first, but lately I haven't been happy there. Probably because I have been trying to get a higher position for a while now and I get told is I'm not ready and they don't seem to be too eager to show me or allow me to get ready for a position. Well, it's all bs anyway, because I know I'm ready and I'm proving that now with this promotion over at DG. Anyway, I'm a little sad to go because there are a lot of great people that work at Walmart. I mean I will still see them because I will be visiting Walmart all the time and will still shop there, but it won't be the same I know that already. Oh well life moves on and I'm certainly ready for this change.

Well, I finally decided to take the plunge and try a new job. In two weeks time I will no longer be at Wal-mart. I have accepted a full-time shift supervisor over at Dollar Giant (DG). I'm so excited to be finally try something new with new responsibilities and growth. Wal-mart was great, but they were holding me back.

Okay I wasn't going to post anything today, but I need to vent a bit. Sympatico for whatever reason deleted our entire web page. I can't believe it! They are just lucky I had a backup copy and re-posted it all. I don't know what their excuse was, but I have put too much time into that thing to have it go down again. It is no where near the quality it was before it was deleted the first time, but I sure do not want to have to start all over again. Well, that is my rambling and on my birthday and everything what a day to pick.

I hate winter! That storm last night was really intense. I made it all the way to Fowler's road and then got stuck while trying to go up a hill. So I tried to pack down this one hill because I started spinning my tires at the top of the hill. Well, I ended up in the snowbank. So it took me 15 minutes to walk back to the house, and yeah that was an adventure in itself. I couldn't see out my glasses because they were getting iced over. I fell down once. Yeah, so eventually I made it back to the house and got a shovel. Then I had to dig the car out and I had fun backing down the rest of the hill and back far enough to get another run at the hill. I made it home eventually. An hour and half later. So yes, I hate winter and I want spring NOW!!!
